today at a bee hoon stall at the hawker, one of the customer and her son... and another auntie, all considered the low class citizens judging from the dressing.
[in madarine]
(son trying to take the wooden chopsticks from the stall front.)
customer: oie! don't take lah. we are ta bao-ing home to eat, no need chopsticks.
son: ta bao also can take chopsticks what... *pout*
auntie: aiyah... small kid mah, let him have lah.
(auntie anyhow take two pairs of chopsticks and pass it the the boy)
customer: ok, ok.. take one enuff ar!
(son just don't care and take both of them)
customer: why you zhuo ren (be human) must so greedy? *sigh and dissapointed*
(auntie nothing to say...)
actually... social status or background of upbringing of a person doesn't determine if he or she is a desirable person or not. knowing not to be greedy is something so common to the mind yet so difficult for the action... it is this sense of morality that lifts our spiritual enlightenment...

Why don't play 'mahjong'? I think it's more fun! Play with stakes like, 10 cents, 20 cents? My family always do that! It's fun! Today i realised something. I realised how much i hate my friends to be negative about themselves. Thank God you're always so positive, Kok Boon. Actually, i think BGR don't always begin from a strong friendship. But i do believe that, if you had a strong friendship to begin with, it's better. Also, if you were to end that BGR later down the road, a strong friendship would allow you and your ex to stay as friends. This is what i think. NATO!
I just came back from work about half an hour ago actually. It was really busy today. Thank God everything went fine. No complaints and all. I have to stop typing now. My finger's hurt and i can't type comfortably.

i totally agree that being single is not bad at all. no point rushing into a relationship that doesn't warrant anything. the relationship we get from our company of friends sometimes actually exceeds what our GF or BF can give... i always thought that since a couple is supposed to be the most intimate, then the person whom each of them confide in after a quarrel will be the most precious friend in their lives, and i want to be that friend. i believe in strong friendships and BGR begins from strong friendship.... hmm.. anyway, as you can see from the time below, it is already quite late into the night.. you know what i did? haha... my family and i played "daidee" from 8 to now!!!! can you imagine? hmm... it's good to be with the family again, bonded and cohesive... feel the warmth.... know that not everyone in the world has that feeling, think i'm fortunate... wish that everyone can find warmth and peace somewhere out there.

I long ago felt that this was a extremely useful site! It's just that i didn't know how best to use it. I knew you could so i left it to you. Anyway, it was the customers there, some strangers, not my relatives! Besides, only my two sisters, my mum, my nephew, my sister's stead and i went for it. Not alot of people. More like a family gathering.
hey... i THINK the blogger's server's down... =( and i am half way through my HTML editing. and even now, i am trying to post something to test the service at this tremendously slow connection. not that i have never experience it before (got a taste from 4bjustbe the other time), but it is too unbearable... if you see this, then thank goodness =)

hey... you are not suppose to treat this as a forum, and also tempt me into THINKing that way... anyway, you mean your relatives got into a fight?!?! how ridiculous! hmm... my father finally came back from overseas work today, though he'll be going away soon, THINK we won't miss him.. cos we're used to it already....
You know what? I thought this was very much like a forum too. But then it's more of a restricted one. Anyway, i was out with my family today. Just came back. We went to the karaoke. it wasn't that good, neither was it really bad. though someone there actually got into a fight i think. The police came down. And i take that as spoiling my day.
sheesh... can't they grow up?
